App simply does not work on Lion. Stellar "support" kept bugging me with questions and never came back with an answer. This is a fraud!

Tried to use software on an old mac--Software requires an optical write drive to create . Old mac does not have one. Specs page does not mention this requirement at all. so I ran software after purchase. kept on being prompted to insert DVD (have old macbook w/ no dvd write). I emailed tech support--took 4 days to answer. Their initial reply 'what version of WINDOWS are you using." Then I was passed on to tier 2 support and told that I needed an optical write drive. errrr. They asked If I wanted a refund. I stated yes--so they passed me to sales support, which denied me a refund because, "an optical write drive is a general requirement" like a monitor!!!! Please, do not support companies that operate like this. I worked in software, this is criminal. NEVER buy anything from stellar / avantquest.

Takes forever to go through your drive to create a disk image so you can create a bootable DVD. Will not burn disk image or files onto DVD!!! Simply does not work!!!
Summary
Stay as far away as you can from these slimy weasels!!! Excuses... excuses... excuses. By far the worst software experience in my 15 years on a Mac!!! After getting fed up and uninstalling software from computer they still want me to try this and that and the other thing. I just want my money back!!!

Brought what I thought was a good product, always suspicious if it is going to really be Mac compatible... software loads ok, but requires a Bootable CD to Degfrag, followed instructions etc etc still didn't work, after many weeks of help from the support, still didn't work. A decent company would refund the money if the product they sell doesn't work or do as they say, not Stellar. So if you'd like to donate to the Stellar (bunch of cowboys) Charity, go ahead. I would never buy anything from these crooks again!!!
