"Effective! Easy to use!"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
Startup Control Panel is a simple, yet intuitive, tool allowing users to enable/disable individual programs in the various startup groups on their Windows machine. It even sports a "Recycle bin" in case you decide to resurrect an old startup that was accidentally deleted, a useful feature for us click-happy users. :)
Cons
Nothing, really, except the install binary saved on this site doesn't work. You will need to go to mlin.net to download the standalone executable.

"A Must-Have Utility!"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
Simple, intuitive interface. Great features, does one thing and does it very well. I like it a lot!
Cons
No cons. Love it.

"Hard to run and hard to uninstall"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
It does work tho its very bare bones.
Cons
If it wasnt for another users review (janlig98) I would never have been able to find the program to run it.
It doesnt appear in the add/remove programs to uninstall it even tho it says it does on its own website info.
You have to go into the windows/system32 folder to get rid of the program.
Unable to maximise/minimise the application.
It doesnt give you much info about what the startup items are.
Startup Inspector for windows 2.1 is a much better utility.

"Great little utility"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
Lets you remove unnecessary items from your startup list that can slow down your system performance and/or startup time. Small file size. Works seamlessly with Windows XP and integrates itself into your system.
Cons
Would never have found it after download if not for reviewer janlig98's tip:
Click 'start', 'control panel', 'switch to classic view', then double click on 'STARTUP'.

"fantastic, one of the 3 most useful programs ever devised"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
Let's you know what those pesky startups are, and let's you choose to let them fill your memory or not. A great way to speed up your internet experience. Extremely highly recommended.
Cons
None, absolutely none.

"it works"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
This little program works. If you need to unclutter your taskbar system tray, this does that easily and does it well. No, i am not the developer. Easy to use interface.
Cons
After installing, i could not find it.
Click 'start', 'control panel', 'switch to classic view', 'STARTUP'.
I recommend only unchecking the programs instead of deleting them.
If the software involved has been UNinstalled completely; then delete the startup entry.

"I love this program!"
Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros
This is an excellent program, easy to use and very helpful. If you like this, go to the publishers website (mlin.net)and download the EVEN GREATER program called Startup Monitor!! The website has a lot of information to help users INSTALL and UNINSTALL the programs and where to find them once they are loaded. I printed it out for future reference.
Cons
None so far...
