Most PCs load a bunch of useless stuff each time they start: launchers, control panels, you name it. StartUp Tool lets you take back your boot processs. It's only a bit more full-featured than Msconfig (which is to say not very), but it does allow you to disable or remove items that automatically launch with Windows. However, unlike similar programs, it doesn't recommend which files to keep or delete. Nor does it let you change the order in which they start. All in all, StartUp Tool is best suited to intermediate users plagued by free-riding start-up files (QuickTime, we're looking at you).Publisher's description
From ExtraMile Software :StartUp Tool is an easy to use start-up items editor, which allows you to identify, add, edit, remove or disable start-up items using an intuitive graphical user interface. Start-Up Tool is a small standalone executable, so you can easily take it with you. The embedded help file explains everything you ever wanted to know about your computer's start-up.

Version: StartUp Tool 1.2
"Good, but you can get better"
Pros: Simple, no install. Very easy to use.
Cons: Limited in it's ability to browse startups. Doesn't say where the startup is located. Take my advice, download startup control panel. It's also free, and has more options.
