In this addictive real-time strategy game set in space, the object is to make money, not war. Even though the goal seems bit mundane, the game keeps you on your toes. We found the game world a bit small, yet we weren't bored. Comparing prices, managing your crew and ship, and making decisions keep you alert every minute. If you don't actively manage your affairs, you quickly will go bankrupt. Although Starship Tycoon uses 2D graphics, they are attractive. If the goal of competing to make the most money in a futuristic environment thrills you, Starship Tycoon is worth a try.Publisher's description
From Positech Games :Starship Tycoon is an addictive and deep management/strategy game that puts you in charge of your own galactic shipping corporation. Transport passengers and cargos between the stars, manage your employees, and compete against AI opponents in this cool space game. The game has eight missions, played against the clock or in free-form mode, and a random map generator for unlimited replay. You can even import your windows address book to name your crew. Version 2.29 build 2.4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Excellent space trading game"
Pros: This is a suprisngly addictive game. Its similar to Elite, or privateer or similar games, except you arent buying and selling cargo, but actually running a space travel company. Lots to do, lots of variety, great fun
Cons: Its in 2D, but apart from some little kids who take offence at that, its no problem.

"Great game. And it is addicting!"
Pros: This game is a lot of fun. It's simple yet challenging. Positech's best game.
Cons: It's a little to simplistic. More things to do would be nice.
