    "Commands Respect"

    February 5, 2005  |   By Angraved99

Version: Star Wars Republic Commando demo

    Pros

The new squad system adds depth to the game which otherwise would be a straight point and shoot. The helmet view really immerses the player into the world of the republic commando. The addition of episode 3 villans makes this a worthwhile download!!!

    Cons

The only Problem is that the weapons do not feel balanced. a recharable pistol has more punch than a heavy repeater. if you can get over this then it is a brilliant game!

excellent game play...creative and reality graphics.....amazing experience in all.

    "Awesome looks."

    February 4, 2005  |   By Drow38

Version: Star Wars Republic Commando demo

    Pros

This game looks awesome. Probly one of the best Star Wars games made (Graphics wise). Starwars: Battlefront(Or whatever its name is) is great, but from the video demo that i have seen, Star Wars: Republic Commando is far greater in graphics, playability, and length. I went through an entire Galactic Conquest as the little robot dudes in about thirty minutes. That includes, losing my home plant, and having to take the damn thing back (Hate the guys with Wookies in their squads, sometimes.). Im downloading it now, and, although i probly wont be able to play it because of my low quality Video Card, i still highly recommend it... CIS! That was the robot dudes! The CIS. It seems to play just like "Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six 3". Controls not included. I really hope it comes out for the Xbox, because it would be very difficult to play otherwise. And i like the view, its the same as the inside of the helmet. So, its not like theres a camera on your shoulder, and your looking through it.

    Cons

I didnt really see anything wrong with it.
