it is much funner to play once you become a jedi and this allows the super fun to begin right away. also taris sucks less with a lightsaber
taris becomes incredibly easy
From the start of the game a little more plausible by adding some back story to set up why you can use Force Powers and the reason you are a jedi but no one remarks about it.
None of the new dialog options have sound files attached to them.
This mod is really of interest only if you're bothered by inconsistency of being a Jedi, going to Dantooine, and then being made a Jedi. The only reason to use this mod is if you're interested in the back story and would like to see it fit a little better into the game itself.
Also, it's a lot of fun to hack Sith guards to pieces with your lightsaber, and in the tutorial module you can do this without much trouble. After you leave the Endar Spire, the "new storyline" sort of stops.
To install this mod, copy all the files except for this readme into the Override folder in your KotOR directory. Once you have done this, start a new game. After the movies play you'll be taken to the new introduction and storyline.
Please note: when this mod is installed you will *not* be able to play the "original" storyline -- if you wish to play a Soldier, Scout or Scoundrel beyond level 1, you cannot do so with this mod.
To uninstall this mod, delete the files listed above from your Override directory folder.
Makes the game much more easier since you get a lightsaber right when you start out and it also comes with evry single jedi robe coulor you can get in the game it also lets you pick your saber coulor and your jedi class. It is a very small file so dont worry!
Confusing at the beging because you think to your self 'what the heck will i put this thing but ill explain it to you right now.First you unpack all the files then you go to program files and open up the lucas arts file then the sw kotot file after that you then look for a file called 'Override' you then all all the unpacked files you downloaded [not the whole folder just the files not including the readme]because if you put in the whole folder you will notice it doesent work so after youve done all this you launch the game and start a new game. You costomize your character and all that stuff but then you find your self in the first 'level' we could call it then a old man thats soposed to be a jedi walks up to you and explains whats going on he tells you what jedi path you want and what coulor lightsaber then you keep on with the game but it skips the first 'level' and put you in the second one instead of playing the first level in exchange it will give you 600 credits and 1500 exp. Well as you can see the only con is its confusing at the begining but ive explained it to you so there should be no problem.Peace SW fans.
IT WONT LET YOU PLAY THE GAME EVER AGAIN!!

Read my review and u'll understand this and no you dont get ALL the force powers and no you dont get ALL the saber powers but the get the esencial ones like jedi defense you need this to wear the jedi robe and it gives you the force powers stun and force push.
Does not let you pick your person at character creation, but when you complete all character generation, a man walks up and clears it all up.

So do you mean you start on dantoine or still start at the ship? and do you start with all powers and stuff or just lightsaber and some powers or no powers?
