"Don't waste your time"
The game has good graphics and a nice, smooth running engine.
The Network GUI is nice, lots of feed back on whats happening and server status.
I sincerely hope that this isn't representative of the actual game! It plays more like an alpha then a demo.
2 of the 9 classes are totally gimped and not really practical to try in the demo/trial. As a trader or Artist, you can't really level at all.
Major imbalance! For example, an officer has 2 abilities at level 3 that combined are more powerful than the force lightening Jedi power at level 6.
Numerous assets are missing causing items or effects to appear as a large cube over your character avatar. The jedi force lightening also has no visible effect.
The game mechanics are odd, mobs can fire at you through walls, but you can't fire back. Mobs respawn almost before you can loot them. Often, they respawn in your line of fire causing you to take on more than you want. Mobs passing behind your character while you are attacking something else can cause your character to turn and attack that mob.
Quests are no-brainers to the point of being absurd. For example, a female asks that you go find her missing husband. When you find him, he attacks you and you have to kill him. Not to worry, she tells you she understands AND gives you a reward for it! If she wanted him dead, why not just hire a hit man in the first place?
Seems to be a FPS in progress. Spend the $15 and try the actual game for a month.
