I have the game but have not played the demo. The game is exelent in my opinoin.It has everything a startrek fan would want and everything a gamer would want too. People have been complaining about the graphics but if u have a good grafics card and u crank the games grafics they're great. The new and old ships are awsome and every species has its advantages and disadvantages. Like 8472 has great ships but crapy specials. Cardasians have pretty bad ships but Great specials. I could go on and on but if u like stratigy games go out and get it.

When the graphics and the sound work it's a good game. The game has tons of bugs though. Sometimes it will just crash and go to desktop or the weapons fire will turn off, etc.

I have no idea what was going on with this. It started well with nice graphics and clear sound. Well presented visuals and menu's. Until.... The blue screen of death. Anyone who uses windows should know what this is. It's basically your hard drive going into an epileptic fit. At it's worst it can mean the total trashing of everything on your system. I rebooted and (perhaps inwisely) tried again.. same result... Other people seem to have done OK with this program, but for me using Win NT on my Laptop it was a total turkey. Shame really as from the start it looked quite good.
