"It's worth buying five times to play it once."
Version: Star Trek: Armada II demo
Pros
Great graphics, realistic. You see stations and ships be built. Very well made, can't describe the rest of it. It's just so great!
Cons
Only that the demo could show more races, maps, and missions.

"very engaging, lots of fun"
Version: Star Trek: Armada II demo
Pros

Cons
it freeses up when you get close to defeating the level and the ferengi can't be destroyed

"Great game!"
Version: Star Trek: Armada II demo
Pros
It really is too bad that I won't be able to buy this until I get rich. If that were ever to happen, I would definitely buy! I played and loved the first Armada, and so, when I found a way to play the sequel for free, I couldn't resist. Anyone who liked the first game will love the second.
Cons
This is more of a list of Pros and Cons for Armada II in general than just the demo.
PROS: Lots of new ship classes including Galaxy (Enterprise-D from The Next Generation) and Intrepid (Voyager!), better graphics than the original, two new races (although you can't use them in the demo), more user-friendly controls, better weapons, and actual warp speed!
CONS: I can't speak for the rest of the game, but the music seemed about substandard when compared with the original Armada. It's not bad music, it's just not as good as that of the original game.

"cool"
Version: Star Trek: Armada II demo
Pros
Its kinda cool with good graphics and movement.
Cons
The demo only gives one level. How do i know whether its a good game or not from playing only one level? I hope in the full version there are larger maps than the one in the multiplayer. If there are more than two players there is just no room for expansion. I played the map with two other players, and was under a full assualt before my construction ships could even finish building their first structure.

"Definitely worth buying!"

Summary
If you liked the original version of Star Trek: Armada. Then you're going to love its newest installment. Personally, I loved first Star Trek: Armada, and naturally I was excited, when I heard about Armada II. Having now played Armada II, I am deeply grateful to the designers of this game for keeping the controls of Armada II very similar to the original. Often at times designers upgrade newer versions in every way including the controls. Which is not always a good thing. However, I'm happy to see the design team mostly left the controls alone. Which means that an avid player of Star Trek: Armada 1 will spend more time learning the game's new features, and less time learning an entirely new control system. Armada II's graphics are awesome, and the gameplay and storyline are just as good. Try the demo for yourself, and draw your own conclusions.

Summary
This game is quite good on its own but really shines (as most games do) when you got a good mod to play on it.
