Version: Star Sonata 1.0.01
"The greatest spaceshooter on the net."
Pros: Ranges from quite easy to a challenge for the uber gamer. It is often updated as well, usually once every week to 2 weeks. In game, the player has the ability to choose what skill class they wish to take (the ability to fire multiple weapons; a trader; a tank/backup healer; a station, drone, and/or slave master; etc) along with the ability to change classes later on in game if they find that they would like to try another class or their selected class does not suit their way of playing. The admins are on often when not programming and creating new content and can usually be talked to just as if you were having a casual conversation. The ability to create teams and temporary leveling and dg-ing (killing waves of enemies in a dungeon-like galaxy area) squads is also very nice. And another nice feature is that you may play to level 20 for free without any time limit restrictions for this trial. Then, when you do go p2p (pay-to-play), it only costs 10$ per month with the ability to pay for 3 months and get one free! Plus, you get 5 characters on each account, meaning you can even build a character to head-on fight, while having another do more peaceful trading and another can set up bases and build items and ships, and even another can fight using bots, and another can perform backup help for your teammates, all only with one payment per month!
Cons: Sometimes the admins may overnerf skills and items in their quest of balance, though they usually balance them out more or add new abilities and skills to make it a positive though. Some of the players in-game are also a bit rude, though that is in most every online game.
