If you bill by the hour, you can't afford to forget how long you worked, and for whom. Standard Time is a versatile solution for tracking time and progress across multiple projects. On first start-up, a step-by-step wizard helps you create a new project and client. From there, you simply start the timer each time you begin work on a project or task. Standard Time is fully integrated with Microsoft Project and Outlook, allowing you to send personalized, detailed billing notifications. Multiple users can access a single Standard Time database via ODBC. Standard Time also offers Gantt charting, task filtering (by client, project, date, and resources required to accomplish the task), file attachment, resource tracking, and budgeting. You can build reports and export them into various formats, including HTML, XML, CSV, and XLS. The interface is a bit weak, lacking right-click support and an intuitive design. Nevertheless, Standard Time's basic features work well enough to satisfy professionals.Publisher's description

"Ease of Use was not well thought out"
Summary: It is too difficult and combersome to add a new client, to create a new project. Right-click would be a great addition to the app. Also error handling is not very good, if the app cannot talk to the central DB then it generates an error message that... read more >>
