Version: SpywareBlaster 4.1
"Great preventive measures"
Pros: It is simple and easy to use. It is geared to do one main thing and that is to prevent spyware from having a chance.
Cons: i think the distance of the preventive measures are just the beginning and more can be done. With the help of Spybot Search and Destroy and Advanced windows care i get a lot more results and protection.

Yes Spybot S&D and Anti-Malware are effective protection; but folks replying to randy forget that both of those programs use RAM and some CPU resources, and SpywareBlaster uses NONE.
Also, more important - for a few sheckles you have AUTOMATIC UPDATES, for those of you who think this is'nt important - just remember all the drive by iFrame attacks and hidden page mines there are on the legitimate websites now! The landscape has changed, we need as instant protection as we can get for the least dollar.
Be sure to contribute to PepiMK software too, if your a Spybot S&D fan. -
I agree with this review. I use Spybot Search and Destroy as well. Using both of these programs has helped to keep my computer almost completely free of spyware, adware and malware. Version 4.1 does load faster and easy to use. I have used both programs since they were first introduced. Great software

I must agree with you on your Cons. I get more results from using Advanced Window Care, Spybot Search and Destroy and MalwareBytes than i did with Spyware Blaster. I ran it and yes i knew i had spyware on my system which i had put there on purpose to try out this program. found 40% of the spyware compared to the other programs finding 65%-98%...
I suggest people have another spyware program on their computers if they use this one just as a backup.
