"Can not remove all of software once installed!!! Beware !!!!"
Pros
It did get rid of some malware that Awil Avast could not nor could Ad-Aware nor ZoneAlarm Professional.
Cons
After removing software and all related files, on re-boot a blue screen would pop up and say this software is scanning. Scanning what?? So there must be some hidden files somewhere, but I could never find it / them. I had to finally reformat my computer completely. This takes about 8 hours just because of a nagging blue screen on re-boot!!! Also ZoneAlarm found a virus coming from the auto update folder on my system as well, as stated in a prior post.
'
BE WARNED!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SOFTWARE!!!
If there was a way to remove all the software and including all hidden files, and didn't down spyware, it would be a great piece of software. And if you find a way to remove everything pertaininng to this software, please post it!!! Under Negative reviews, and maybe, just maybe, C/Net Download , COM will put the removal steps in there weekly news letter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I gave it a 1 because you can not go any lower!!!!!!

I've been a longtime fan of SpywareBlaster & have had no problems with it up to now. I updated to version 4.1 from 4.0 on 12/6/08. I received an update to the definition database the following day & a subsequent scan with AVG 7.5 free alerted me to Trojan Horse Dropper.Agent.IPC in the file sbautoupdate.exe. I'm now going to uninstall this app as I don't need the hassle of having a security app which gives me issues of this nature.
I'll get back to you if I come across the blue screen pop up & any possible solution.
