Version: SpywareBlaster 3.5.1
"Simply the BEST & Essential for EVERY computer ...."
Pros: I had installed SpywareBlaster for my new Hard disk 2 months ago and NOW when I scaned for Spyware with "Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4" I didn't find any.
The concept of SpywareBlaster is GREAT, It doesn't scan for and clean spyware--it prevents it from being installed in the first place.
SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, dialers, browser hijackers, and other potentially unwanted programs. It can also block spyware/tracking cookies in IE and Mozilla/Firefox, and restrict the actions of spyware/ad/tracking sites.
There is no process running so no consumption of system resources.
Cons: Nothing.
To make sure than its actually WORKING you need to scan your computer with other anti-spyware software.

I have SpywareBlaster running, but Ad-Aware SE still picks up about one or two tracking cookies. I guess that's minor since it usually picks up about 6-7 . Thanks for the great review.

I have that download on my computer and it never picks up anything either. Yesterday i downloaded the trail version on Spy Sweeper and it found 86 spyware cookies and one trogan that spybot overlooked. Try downloading that and see what it does. It might pick some that spybot missed.
