Version: Spyware Terminator 2.1
"The Spyware Terminator is wonderful for finding and eliminating spyware."
Pros: It does a great job in real time in detecting spyware and guarding your computer.
Cons: The downside for me was the slow down of my computer after loading it. I uninstall Spyware Terminator and my computer was back up to top speed.

"better than apps you pay for"
Pros: i have had this for over 2 years now and i would rather have this then most of the apps you pay for.
most of the people who give this a bad review don't know how to use it properly, well read the help instructions that what they are there for.
and if you don't want the web security guard then when you install un tick it ...
Cons: it doesn't make my bed when i get up in the morning

"The best free anti-spy program there is."
Pros: I've no doubt that as far as free anti-spy programs, this one ranks first and this new version is the best yet. I use it as a second to my paid for program. It provides active protection ( sometimes too active ). The scans are fast and effective and i appreciate that it detects but doesn't over react to cookies. It's configurable with different options and has regular updates.
Cons: I can't say about the anti-virus module and I don't allow it's toolbar to install. Warnings can be excessive.

Pros: It does do a good job and it's pretty fast. A lot of options.
Cons: As said already, the alerts popping up can get very annoying. I understand it is warning against anything it thinks might be a threat, but that's what I have a firewall for.
Unlike my firewall, this program likes to alert for more than just the initial program. If I install a game or something, Spyware Terminator may pop up an alert for several files within the installing program, making it take a lot longer for that program to install, and if I'm not at my computer to watch the installation and an alert pops up, it doesn't continue with the installation. Yes, that's a good thing, but like I said, it's very annoying after a couple times of allowing.
Then again, if it's a program that I am installing myself and I allowed it originally, then it shouldn't keep popping up alerts throughout the whole installation. Warning against spyware or whatever else trying to install itself on my computer is one thing, but if it's something I started, it should allow the whole thing.

Pros: they took it off the rogue anti spyware list. still doesn't make it worth anything
Cons: don't even think you're safe with this. just because it's free doesn't mean krap! just because it says it runs in real time only means one thing POP UPS AND A SLOW COMPUTER!
