"Terrible application"

I bought this because I was experiencing a problem with multiple internet explorers firing up on their own and eating up the system. This does not even detect it and when I check for help on their site, they have all sorts of excuses to point the finger at other venders. Would never buy anything from them again.

It's dodgy, bloated, uses too much in the way of system resources, infects your computer with random malware, doesn't detect half the stuff it should do, half the stuff it does detect is harmless. I had to format and reinstall windows because of this pile of cr*p... Worst software I've ever used...

Nothing to like. SD is a disaster.
Cons
I used SD happily for more than a year, but once v5.5.322 was released, the problems began. Every time I booted up, my PC FROZE. Finally had to boot up in safe mode and uninstall it. SD was great stuff at one time, but I wouldn't go near it now!

Nice interface.This version is very light on CPU.Scan times much faster.I mean the scans have gone from 50 minutes to 4 minutes.Does not slow down my pc.Log off and boot up not effected in any way.A much improved product overall.

No cons whatsoever.

Easy to use.Nice interface.Had no problems whatsoever.A much improved antispyware from PC Tools.

I had this extortion spyware automatically install on my new computer. Every time I turned my computer on it would launch Internet Explorer and take me to SpyWare Doctor website automatically, then tell me I was infected with a virus and to download their free trial software. At one point my toolbar showed I had more than 50 pop-ups for Spyware Doctor. I would try to get in to my email and I would be redirected back to SpyWare Doctor. Since my computer was less than a week old I re-formatted my hard drive to remove the adware. I don't understand why all these websites give it such rave reviews.

This should be on the rogue list because it crashes your pc and leads you to blue screens of death.It slows down your computer.The reason why people use this junk is because it detects alot and the reason why it detects alot is because it's just all false positives.Absolutely a nightmare.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
I HAD TO RESTORE MY PC!!!!!!!!!!!
