Pros: Spybot-S&D is my most trusted antispyware program using all-along.The new Vn. has a separate window for updates and automatically 'checks' the required ones of the user.Recovery,Immunise,and 'teatimer'(realtime) have no visible changes but functions well as in the past.These three functions are be set carefully and almost all intruders will be caught by this great free antispyware- tool.After a long session of web activities you run the manual-scan and it will show/remove all kinds of spywares,adwares,dialers and even some trojans.Since it updates its detection-rules regularly it can be assured that all new intruders are handled.The developers of this software are giving great service to the computer-user-world.
The old skins are still seen retained in this new Vn.:Italia(green),Color-blind(white),Peace(yellow) and original(gray).

Version: Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5
"The best free anti-spyware that I have seen"
Pros: I have been using Spybot for so many years that I can't remember when I first downloaded it, and I have never been disappointed. If there's a nasty on my computer, it finds it. Love the new version. Improvements everywhere. I personally would recommend this without reservations.

"Top Notch - and the latest update is even better"
Pros: It is a great product and my first choice for Spyware removal. It does not find everything, but it is sure quite reliable and respectable. It is the best Anti-Spyware program now on the books and there are many more features than just the basic search and fix functions. Immunize has a huge selection, and the advanced functions are quite complete. It has a scheduler for total automatic running on a daily basis. Take my word for it, and DONATE to help support the continuation of this program. Worth donating to.
Cons: I just wish it could be the only choice for ANTI-Spyware. There is no single choice and would love for this one to be the only choice, or the only one needed. It needs to be able to search for more and find more. I know it does miss some.

"thorough cleaning "once" after easy install"
Pros: only thing i liked about it is that it did a thorough cleaning "once" after easy install
Cons: just like "micwic", i tried it a few yrs back & at first it found alot of stuff but after that it found nothing for the next 3 months. I would do another scan w/ AdAware & AdAware would find a boatload of stuff. I got rid of spybot then once again tried it due to high ratings, and it just did the same thing all over again. I'm wondering maybe if it detects AdAware on our system, it jus throws in the towel?
