"still one of the best"

Pros
better faster scanning, more deep, faster set up, more detailed, faster scanning, better look and ease of use under the Advanced options, automatically finds your definitions download mirror, instead of the default one, no more antivirus popups when scanning certain files, it compresses the files for AV, still free! nice along side the new version of AdAware, which by the way is still free as well.

Pros
Increased speed over 1.3. Does not hog resources while scanning. Immunization is a great new feature. Front end has been cleaned. Offers live protection for IE.
Cons
Resident does not support Firefox or Opera.

Pros
Removed things like 14 DAP ads not recognised by 2 other top rated spyware programs and 14 news ads they also missed. It found an ALEXA that was missed too. And this was in the first 10 minutes after downloading Spybot. Over 6 times faster than Adaware Pro I paid for. Did I say it was fast? YOU BET.
Cons
A bit fiddly, but definitely worth a fiddle. Will test some more for the cons over next few weeks. Who cares if Adaware program grumbles a bit about Spybot.

THe scanning time is fast, and some of the program tools have been improved and overall it was excellent. Oh , and the interface have been iMproved with nice buttons.

The program could have come with a diffrent look, instead of with the 1.3 look...
