"Finds Stuff But It Always Comes Back"

Summary
I am beginning to wonder what is the point of this product - it finds stuff, says it has deleted it but then finds the exact same stuff when I run it a few days later.
All of a sudden this has become unuseable. kills your pc , avoid at all costs.

Updated on Feb 16, 2011ALERT!!!!! latest version will not run unless you download Teatimer.... I always loved Spybot but they have lost the plot this time. If you decline to download Teatimer the product refuses to run "as it is not up to date". Uninstalled after many years. What a shame.

Have been using for a while now and no more tracking cookies, spyware, anything. The teatimer blocks everything, brilliant.
Cons
Conflicts with some other spyware and freezes. But on its own it works fine. I have used super anti-spyware with this and it does not freeze but slows the computer down.
Summary
Would recommend as the only spyware problem needed and works well with firewall and anti-virus programs.

The support via the forums and also by direct email as a result of posting in the forum has been amazing.

Some overhead which has to be expected.
Summary
I'm still trying to diagnose a problem where I am being blocked access to various sites such as safer-networking.org itself. After determining it's not related to Conflicker I posted the problem in one of the forums and received a very fast response via direct email. This enabled me to do a fresh install without having access to their site on the failing machine.
Now we are trying to find out why access is blocked and why I get a Windows abend on the failing machine as well.
They offer several other good applications to help diagnose problems elsewhere on their website. -

Spybot works hard at finding any problems. Its one of the best.
Cons
No cons, but there are several programs out there that also as hard. pick the one you are comfortable with.
