"Uncertain."
Version: SpyCatcher Express 5.1.2
Pros
It appears to work for most people.
Cons
possible worm or trojan.
Summary
use it at your own risk. Majorgeeks.com has several forum posts that read like a horror movie that only an IT can "slash" his way out of. Compuer crashes, loss of major(no pun intended) Windows functions, loss of some security programs(I read Mcaffee for one). I said in a reply that i would download this and try it. thank goodness I did a little homework first. Maybe for some it works. however, for some it is a scary movie.

"WASTE of time"
Version: SpyCatcher Express 5.1.2
Pros
1. semi-decent-looking main interface
2. has auto-update function
...but that's about itCons
1. UNBEARABLY LONG download & install process, requiring at least one reboot (a second is necessary if you change any of the settings) and slowing down the startup time of my pc immensely.
2. HORRIBLE design, with tacky and nastily outdated menusSummary
So if you can overlook the lengthy install process (which you only have to deal with once), you are then faced with a very slow startup time. My pc is kept clean and typically is up & running and browsing the internet within 1.5 minutes. With SpyCatcher installed, the first startup after reboot took over 4 minutes, and then another 7 until the taskbar was all loaded. Thinking it was a one-time thing, I rebooted again --- only to find the same mess happening.
On top of that comes the design. The main interface is half-decent...if you don't mind seeing tacky, cartoonish colors that would be in a kid's bedtime story. Plus, and here's the kicker, if you click on anything besides the main tabs, which already look a tad outdated, you are redirected to the most basic, windows95-like menus. For example, if you click on SCAN, a grayish window pops up with selectable bullet points as if the program was made 10 years ago. UGLY.
My one question is this: how in the world is the average rating 3.5 stars?!
