Version: SpyCatcher Express 2006 4.4.6
"NEVER got program to run ????"
Pros: NOTHING. Got it downloaded but never got it to run. At a file size of over 17Mb!! not really worth the disk space.
Cons: This so-called security program stopped ALL my programs from loading!! After installing this I could not get it to run and would not allow me to run ANY of my other programs or even get on the internet!! I had to go into safe mode just to uninstall this junk. I even tried installing it a SECOND time just to see if any of my security programs were stopping or conflicting this program from running. Still no luck. Had to do a hard boot and go into safe mode to uninstall it again. What a pain in the A..!!!! My suggestion, if you want good real-time antispyware/adware monitoring and removal for FREE.Try Microsoft Anti-spyware, or Spyware Terminator. Both are top-notch and they won't crash your PC!!!

you are running way too many security apps on ur system, and are all fighting 4 ur comp. also, the on guards u have running are prob. taking up a substantial amount of ram, which could be why it wont load - its overdosed. also, wherever u downloaded it from, ur security apps could have blocked some of the cucial components, mistaking them as threats. either way, YOU ARE OVERDOSED.

Did you download it here? because this proggy isnt known to have install probs. if you downloaded this from some other site, it could have a virus that did that to your computer, not the prog. I have run this app alongside avg, ad-aware, etc. all the biggies even some commercial such as spyware doctor and webroot spy sweeper with no problems. It sounds to me that you have a problem outside this app and therefore are out of your place to put it down without some hard evidence.

I have to agree with Smoaky on this, I had the same problems and my install was on a fresh format, running fine...read my review.

If you have that many system protectors on your computer, they could be bombarding and conflicting with spycatcher. It may not be the best, but it does detect spyware, adware, viruses, and other PUPs that other programs don't. It doesn't always load up, but when you get it to load up set up a scheduled scanning time. Besides, all those programs aren't that great and not going to any harmful sites might have something to do with it.

So tell me If ALL my computers that I tried this program on (Four PC's) are so heavily infected then why do MY AVG anti-virus program, Adaware,SpybotS&D,A-squared,CW shredder,Bazooka,Spywareblaster,Microsoft Anti-spyware, Spyware Terminator,Just to name a FEW of the secruity programs I run almost every day donot show ANYTHING???? Not to mention I also run a router that is "NAT" enabled I run Zone Alarm firewall AND I also have my internet connection firewalled on my Windows XP.!!

This is because your computer is so heavily infected that they overpowers antispyware, you should scan your computer in safe mode, with as many antispyware as possible.
