Version: Spy2Bust 1
"Cripple-ware of dubious parentage"
Pros: NONE
Cons: Testing by experts at Spyware Warrior revealed that this app is ineffective at prevention, having allowed several common threats through, and in addition it will not remove any adware or spyware until purchased.
You do not need this junk.

I have never said that I am, and neither have I ever attempted to imply that I am. In fact I have made several statements here, making it very clear, that I am not an authorized representative of SWW.
Had you ever asked me too privately, I would have made any statement to that effect you wished me to make, both on load.com and at the SWW forum as well. You never asked me to do so even on the SWW forum though.
Of course had you handled it that way, it would not have been such a blatant public display of your contempt of me, in an attempt to 'put me in my place' as your unworthy subservient and assert your control issues though. To my eye, and likely in the eyes of some others as well, it appears that you chose to handle it this way for that very reason.
My review of Spy2Bust 1 which you take exception to, is merely reportage, and to assert or imply that a reporter who writes of what they have witnessed as being proscribed, because they in so doing are trying to pass themselves off as authorized spokespeople for who ever they are reporting about, simply will not fly. Can you imagine Bush claiming such a thing about journalist reportage he disapproves of? Oops. Bad example.
Suzi you accused me on the SWW forum of having a personal vendetta against download.com, and you also said that I am only using SWW for the purpose of carrying it out. Why would you presume such a horrible thing? That is merely your malicious assumption about my motives. I do not "hate download.com", and it is not a "personal vendetta".
I just want download.com to act more responsibly by refusing to list ASW software they know is useless and in some cases even harmful.
I care very much about all users, and I care especially for those less experienced, who are so often victimized by unscrupulous vendors of worthless and even dangerous software. Their money is taken and their systems are damaged all too often.
I also want to prevent people from being fooled into thinking they are protected against malware when they really are not.
It is my strong conviction, that preventing others from relying upon phony ant-malware software, which is intentionally made to be ineffective or even in and of itself harmful, will go a long way toward reducing the threat of malware of all types.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and an informed people is a strong people.
I cannot understand why I find you, of all people, to be an adversary in this, and I am absolutely amazed by the level of personal malevolence you have brought toward me on the SWW forum and in other places here on C-NET's download.com.
WTH?!
