"I was amazed by the information provided!"
Pros: I was amazed by the information provided by SpiceWorks! I look after a network of 25 PCs, 5-6 printers etc. And from the first network scan, it already pointed out issues that needed resolving, that I could not have known otherwise. Thank you for a great FREE software.

Pros: Very easy setup, discovery most of network completely unattended.
Adding new features all the time, my favorite is the Tickets to create trouble reports on anything asset it inventories (printer, pc, software)
Oh, and the price much better!

Pros: This is the only one that can do whhat you want if you convince the forum.
Despite some known problems thi will be the future.
VERY SPICY
Cons: the ptogram don't understand duplicate ip or hardware.
And if you want to c some specification you just jump from browsing to the devices page some i really don't like

"Fantastic tool for any IT-related user."
Pros: Overall, this is a fantastic piece of software. It has saved me many hours already just in the few days I have used it and places so much information about the devices on my network in the intuitive interface. Normally, I would expect to pay at least several hundred for something this useful. The guys at Spiceworks have really got a great product and I can't wait to see what new features they add next.
Cons: Though it could use some refining when it comes to the scan parameters and accounts used for scanning, these minor problems are barely noticed once everything is up and running.

"The Fixed Asset reporting alone makes this a great Core Utility."
Pros: I've been looking for this solution without ever knowing it. It's built the way the Internet was built and will grow with the same power. The setup and scanning are friendly, the information indexed is thorough and actually USEFUL. I can now scan my entire IP base and montior each device. I am making a few improvement requests to see if my needs are pervasive enough to warrant inclusion. I highly recommend Spiceworks - I want to see it grow so we can all benefit from IT.
