"actually, this is pretty good - it is a customisable front end to Speedfan."
Pros: What you need to do, although it's not explained, is download two additional (free) applications:
- the Yahoo widget engine
- Speedfan 4.33
You need to install both applications and run this from the widget engine.
I'm not permitted to add links, so if you want to know more just check out check out softpedia and the publisher's page in yahoo widgets for more detailed instructions.
Once you've installed the additional apps, it does what it says!
Cons: No installation instructions!

Version: SpeedFan Temperature Monitor 6.1
"Excellent software. Saved my hard drives"
Pros: It's very easy to install, easy to use, very informative, and uses the internet to compare your hard drive statistics with others of the same model. If your fans are hooked up properly, you can adjust cooling to cpu usage.
Cons: No cons to report
Summary: After running a check of my hard drives, an advisory on one drive said that I had an issue that was probably a loose connection. On checking the drives, I located the loose cable into the back of the hard drive and replaced the cable. A rescan show... read more
