Version: SpeedConnect XP Internet Accelerator 7.5
"if you value your privacy.."
Pros: -stay away from this pathetic piece of coded spyware.
Cons: Once the product has been activated, it continues to phone home every time you attempt to "apply" the recommended optimized settings. Software isn't supposed to do that without your knowledge.
Summary: I regret having installed SpeedConnect Internet Accelerator. I found out the hard way, ended up in a big mess, having to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows just to return my settings back to normal. I ensured that it was gone from my computer too, good riddance. What a waste of precious time.

The software just check the license validity. It DOES NOT get or send any private information. Also, the software does not ***mess*** any settings -- in fact, it does SAVE your original settings and you can ALWAYS revert to your original settings with just one click. Also, you can always revert to Windows Defaults. There is no need to format or re-install Windows, as this product is completely fool proof, well tested and at a mature version. The product is a well known network optimizer, professionally reviewed by several 3rd party magazines and online software libraries.
