  "Sucks worse than any Software ever installed in my Life"

  Pros

  Are there any? No, seriously, ARE there any?

  Cons

  It installs all sorts of malware of all different types trying to force advertising on you, changes all your Search pages within the Registry, and you CANNOT fix it, or set it back-This it does without your Permission, and even though you have expressly, and very Specifically selected "no" you do not want the Spyware! this might be Illegal for them to do, I don't know. They do not honor their side of the deal! It installs all kinds of Toolbars, adjusts Web site preferences, such as your homepage. Changes your Search Pages even though you tell it not too. You cannot remove this malware, without an intricate knowledge of Registry editing, which even I - an IT Professional - don't know. Best not to install this Garbage if you care about your system at all.

  Summary

  Make SURE to do a System Restore, before installing any of the Malware. YES.....I know, even IF you DID check the checkmark they give you for not installing it, they're still going to install ALL of it onto your system, anyway!!! PLEASE do a Backup, you'll thank me later. Cause you can never really get any of the garbage removed from all throughout your Registry. And, it will be very difficult for you to even set all of your Search pages and homepages of all your browsers back to what it should be. Believe me, I know from several days of agonizing personal experience!!!!!! Ugggghhhhhhh!!!!

  "Installs malware that CANNOT BE REMOVED BY NORMAL MEANS"

  Pros

  None that I know of. I installed a couple programs including this one to try for saving flash videos off websites; I couldn't quite figure out how to get this one to work, and another program worked 1000x better (AllTubeDownloader) so I stuck with it instead.

  Cons

  Ok, listen carefully to this part.
  When you install this program, it will add a toolbar to all your browsers that automatically change your homepage on all of them to the Speedbit Search page. If you change your home pages back to what you want, it will STILL open Speedbit's page every time you open your browser. If you remove the toolbars it will still be there. If you uninstall Speedbit entirely, IT WILL STILL BE THERE!
  It does this by actually changing your registry, which can be very complicated & dangerous to try to fix.
  
  So unless you're OK with seeing the Speedbit page every time you open your browser ever, or you're willing to completely reinstall your browsers & lose all customizations & addons/extensions you had, then DO NOT INSTALL THIS.
  
  P.S. The program Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) does the exact same thing. Avoid that like the plague also.

  Summary

  Even if this program works fine for what it's supposed to do, it's still horrible because it does things that it really shouldn't do. It is true Malware. Same goes for Download Accelerator Plus, they're the same malware just packaged under different brands.
  
  And if you can manage to remove it ok from Firefox & IE & other browsers, you still might have trouble with Chrome, because according to eHow.com, Google sponsors this program:
  "SpeedBit Search is a Google affiliate, and the makers of Download Accelerator Plus and some other programs receive a small amount of money when people use this search engine.
