Summary
It seems the spammers are ahead of Microsoft's ability to update their spam filters in POutlook. I have noticed a big increase in the last year or so. I tried Spamassassin, Mailwasher and Spamblocker. Both Spamassassin and Mailwasher let too much spam through and were not easy to adjust. SpamBlocker was perfect out of the box. I have had very few errors. I just wish they had a one time fee instead of the annual renewal.

It is extremely easy. It delivers excellent spam control. I think it is the best of those programs I know.
Cons
The ONLY complaint is that whenever Thunderbird updates, spam-fighter drags behind... but it is really unjustified - after some time (though it seems like eternity!) they do deliver new version that matches new Thunderbird.
Summary
Absolutely the best and worth recommending to all e-mail users. It really delivers what one expects from the good spam killer.

Has almost 0% false positives which is very good
Cons
Still doesn't catch nearly enough of the junk email I get. Needs a better sniffer to catch these spam mail that all have the same header but from different email addresses
Summary
Is a good product to start with but needs a lot more improvement to become a real spam fighter

"Fairly Good Product - Catches Most Spam"

Catches most of the spam. Good for the most basic of users with little knowledge of how spam works.
Cons
Does not always block e-mails already marked as "Blocked". Can't tell when sending an e-mail to Spamfighter for reporting a spamer if they got the report. Would be better if user had more control over the strength of the blocks and given the ability to set rules in order to strengthen the reliability of blocking.
Summary
Decent product for beginners learning about Spam and how it works. It's a very basic program that is easy to understand even for the most novice user. Would recommend though that after tring this program, to try other's that may be more complicated but would offer better blocking reliability.

I don't think that I have found anything in the spam folder that I wish had been kept in my inbox.
Cons
Right now I am using the free version which tags my e-mails with an ad. I will probably upgrade to get rid of that. But, it works the same anyway.

I've installed it to filter "Outlook" email. BUT, Outlook is not running and my .pst file is on a removED thumb drive. AND my firewall appears to be asking me if I wish to allow different processes within the Spamfighter program to run WHILE I'm shopping and ordering from Frys!

catches about 85% of all spam, seldom puts 'real' mail in the spamfighter folder
Cons
would like to be able to have all spam go to one folder, either spamfighter or windows' spam folder so I don't have to clear two folders all the time. Would also like to have option to right click and delete all spam from spamfighter folder with one click; now I have to highlight and select all and then delete.

Cons
I don't like pornography.
Summary
I am not interested in anything to do with pornography or things like viagra etc. Or being asked to buy one or the other product so please don't send me anything like that. I don't know which version to select for WindowsXP / Office 2007.
I forgot to mention that sometimes my ordinary mail is put into spam but most times not. Please detect the correct spam.
