Version: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio 5.12.02.5280
"Doesn't work"
Pros: Really can't tell
Cons: Latest version- but wrong for my PC
Summary: Tried this when I needed to replace the driver on my Dell Dimension 3000. Deleted the (remains of) the old one -- then this gave me an error message-- incompatible with your hardware. If you're inthe same situation go the Dell site and download the version from there--using your service tag.. That one will work. I agree. Cnet should post a warning.
