Summary
According to tech-support, you NEED the ORIGINAL DRIVERS to install this board on a system running NT. No if's and or DRIVERS! Of course you could always, PURCHASE the drivers on a "replace- ment" CD if you'd like.

cannot download "full" drivers from creative labs, only the "update". it requires the original CD/disk(s) to even get it working (under 95/98/se). of which in my case i lost those. also has alot of issues with WDM, dma buffering is majorly flawed, noticeable in many games, winamp, media player, stutters anoyingly often. very poor for multitasking. would never recommend this card unless your desperate and/or trying to purely rip someone off. They call it "value" for this very reason. oh, did i mention trying to use this in 2000 with an nvidia video card is near impossible? merry xmas kids..

this driver with the card along with a good speaker system ie sub, works great with multimedia and awesome with games. couldnt ask for a better product from Creative
