• "Failed to launch Macromedia Flash..."

  Pros

  Says failed to launch Macromedia Flash because installation. The Macromedia Flash on my PC runs smoothly. It is recently updated and the PC is one week old. Couldn't find. Help pages wouldn't find solutions neither.

  "Failed to launch Macromedia Flash. Please make sure it is installed correctly" Help wouldn't help. Here's their response: When you click other .fla file which is not generated by Decomipielr, is there the same error? If not, please send us the swf file.   I had a dream to became a web art master and to make beautiful flash websites, banners and other wonderful flash things as my second hobby. First studding flash work with training Adobe Flash and its codes in it were very hard, wearisome and unsuccessful. The Adobe program is great but hard for understanding for junior, especial for new user. After I decided that I never being a flash master and stay this dream in peace for a long time. But one day I had a giveaway present from Sothink company: Sothink SWF Quicker and some months later SWF Decompiler!!!!! People, it was such great lucky to meet these the coolest programs!!! They do their flash job easy and without big force. Simply in short time I have learnt how to do the nice, beautiful flash things. Sothink has the greatest video studding library among all Internet! Helping videoes help to do the headiest flash work quick and right. With them you can really make the flash art with beautiful design! SWF Decompiler is a wonderful program, which help you to look inside any flash banner or flash sites and to see in one moment all its contents: pictures, frames, codes and etc. You can convert needed into FLA\Flex and you can export all contents resources in one big file. Program is perfect!

  A good program to use when is working, The first time i brought this program was the best. After 2 version of up-grade the program refuse to register to my name and my serial key WTF. NO SUPPOSE OF ANY KIND. They keep wanting you to upgrade to the newest version. I STOP using the decompiler. There are best program out there. Thanks for the rip off Sothink you will never have my money again,

• A Powerful SWF-to-FLA Converter

  It is able to decompile SWF files to FLA projects at a very high success rate. And compared with other SWF-to-FLA converters, it also provides users with various manual drawing tools enabling them to directly modify or redesign embedded shapes without Adobe Flash CS.

  Cons

  The function of converting SWF to HTML5 needs to be enhanced.

  Pros

  Exceptionally compatibility with all forms of Flash I threw at it, Flex, Flash 6 through Flash 10, Decompiled both AS3 and AS2 code easily. Very good at extracting only particular resources and regenerating missing "fla" files from existing swfs.

  Cons

  User interface is slightly non-standard. The grammar in places is also incorrect, but that's a minor nit-pick.

  Summary

  Exceptionally good value for it's low price. Very efficient at batch converting or decompiling files, when compared to the "official" program, it knocks it out of the park. If you work with SWF files on a regular basis, buy this program.

  Simple, intuitive interface. Great compression that really works! Easy to modify and create files.

  Cons

  Had a problem with one SWF file that had errors, probably because of an absence of FLA source code.

  Summary

  A great program and a bargain at that price. Why would you buy the name brand? The compression facility is stunning and makes a huge difference, especially for large flash files that need to be uploaded/downloaded. Highly recommended.

  easy to use; handles Flash 6 (MX) thru present releases; comfortable user interface; great debugging tool; easily configuratble.

  Cons

  some inaccuracies occur in converting flash MX to MX; CS3 conversions suffer some tweaked fills and missing vector points; not optomized for multi-core processors.

  Summary

  Excellent product for the cost and good tool for any Flash creator for debugging and conversion.

  Looks interesting, if you buy it.

  Cons

  Shareware is misleading - It's a demo. It will show you what it can do, but won't let you copy the action script without paying. Only $80, but still....

  Summary

  If you just want to get the graphics from a swf file, it's good. If you want to monkey around with the code, look elsewhere or pay.
