Publisher's Description
From SourceTec Software:
Sothink DHTMLMenu helps Web designers create professional, dynamic pop-up menus without the need to write JavaScript code. The generated menu is compatible with almost all available Web browsers and platforms. It supports multilevel menus with fully customizable text, font styles, links, backgrounds, bullets, border styles, pop-up effects, and scrolling menus. Additionally, the menu's position can be either relative or absolute, so it's convenient for users to insert a menu anywhere in a page. This menu tool also integrates with GoLive, Dreamweaver, and FrontPage. Many precreated effects, themes, and templates are offered to save you time and make your work easier.
Version 5.1 build 50412 fixes the following bugs: the Publish wizard did not support inserting menus into UTF-8-encoded HTML files; moving a menu item sometimes caused the item width or height to be lost; the uppercase characters in URLs were always converted to lowercase when a user generated site maps; and sometimes, after a user clicked the back button in Internet Explorer, the page became misaligned.

"Rating of zero"
Version: Sothink DHTMLMenu 9.2
Pros
Looks like it could be a great program.
Cons
Support is next to nothing.
Summary
Tech support, if you call it that, is American names disguising their Chinese names.
They never answer a direct question. My be language barrier. The pgt file always has the wrong paths in it. Paths are pointing to the installation folder. Support does not answer email. -

"Very easy to use with great templates"
Version: Sothink DHTMLMenu 8.4
Pros
This software installed easily and gave me add-ins for Dreamweaver, Front Page and Expression Web. I used it the first time today and had a very nice looking DHTML menu very quickly. Althought I liked all of the provided templates I ended up creating my first menu without a template. It was very easy and looks great on the site. Very easy to configure and get exactly the look you need.
Cons
I use Vista and had a problem getting the add-in to work with Expression Web. But it really isn't needed. Just use the program and cut and paste the code into the page.

"Excellent, easy-to-use menu program"
Version: Sothink DHTMLMenu 8.4
Pros
I ran across this program because I was using a competitor's product that did NOT work. The SoThink system is easy to set up with intuitive menus and options that can be applied across multiple items. It works first time, every time on all browsers I have tried (IE, Fire fox, Flock, Opera). The options for appearance and function are so vast I have yet to scratch the surface! I HIGHLY recommend this program over others you may have seen. I have constructed my own menus using CSS and DHTML and find this method infinitely easier.
Cons
Publishing the menus was a little hard to understand at first but I have some stringent requirements. Now all is good.

"Excellent product, easy to use"
Version: Sothink DHTMLMenu 8.4
Pros
Very easy to configure to match an existing website
-
"Good Value"
Version: Sothink DHTMLMenu 7.3
Pros
Appears to work very well so far. Fairly easy to learn for someone experienced in working with absolute and relative addresses, you will need to know basic HTML. Most comparable programs costs much more than this one.
Cons
I too had a problem receiving my activation key - make sure your ISP does not filter spam as apparently the company (located in China) has a problem in that area. But an email to support got it to me quickly although they apparently don't work weekends.
