  "Useful tool to have"

  Pros: simple to use
  intuitive

  Cons: can't think of any

  Summary: Definitely a useful tool to keep. Mind you it doesn't do OCR so it won't work with pdf files from scanners. But standard pdf (generated from word processors or typesetting software) works just fine. read more

  "Simple to use, and it works"

  Pros: - Easy to install
  - Easy to use
  - Very fast
  - Text output files are accurate
  - A number of option settings, including configuring output for Windows, Linux, or Mac

  Cons: No problems that I can see.
