"many features broken"
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.5
Pros
Free, small, easy to install.
Cons
Doesn't output to output directory
Doesn't output png formatSummary
Attempted to use on a variety of PDFs and output directory was always empty, until I discovered app was writing output to the input file's directory.
Ended up with some 15000 1K image files in a format I had not selected for about 60 pages of mostly-text PDF.
App did extract to JPG but left a huge amount of non-JPG cruft.
Extract to PNG didn't work at all.
Online help completely useless. -
"Extracted PDF images on PDF file easily"
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.5
Pros
Simple to use and did what I needed.
Cons
None found, worked perfectly.
Summary
Very simple and intuitive, in 3 clicks I got images extracted.

"Doesn't work"
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.4
Pros
none - since it didn't work
Cons
It simply didn't work for the PDF I had... without displaying any errors. The UI is not industry standard, terrible way of clicking on the textbox area to set the output directory.

"It's free and it works."
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.4
Pros
It quickly extracts all the images from a .pdf. This is much easier than doing each image one at a time. It's also very simple to use.
Cons
When you first use it, it's a little unclear where the program is extracting the images to. Not really a "con" but, I haven't tested if there's any loss in image quality in extraction, or if it's converting the original images into .jpg format.

"Useful tool."
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.4
Pros
Easy to install. Less than 1 mb of space.
Cons
When i loaded a folder containing more than 10 pdf files, it freezed and then closed with an application error. Its a bug i hope will be fixed in next versions.
Summary
Its very useful. The extracted images are saved in folder in the same place where the pdf file is (the one used to obtain the images of course).
-
"It does work."
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.4
Pros
I've only done quick testing of it, but it did extract the file in the pdf I tried.
Cons
It doesn't tell you what it's doing or where it puts the files (creates a folder where the pdf is), so at first I thought it wasn't working either.
Summary
Needs to be better reviewed by others, but is worth a look.
-
"useless"
Version: Some PDF Image Extract 1.4
Cons
doesn't work, timewaster
