Speeds up your boot. Let's you make safe changes. Great customer email support. Regular upgrades based on user feedback. Good website explaining how it works, directions and troubleshooting. Lots of that help built into the program itself.
Cons
Yes, you will hit snags every once in awhile. But the Customer Service comes from the developers -- in easy to understand language.
Summary
I have been a longtime user of WinPatrol Pro which overlaps some of Soluto's functions, but only a few. I've been using Soluto as far back as 2009 -- and both apps work well together. That speaks volumes for Soluto. And user feedback advances the PC Genome Project...an effort to decrease PC app problems in general. SOLUTO -- go for it. Gives you boot options you never knew you had.

This is a good idea but executed poorly. The idea of this software is to make your computer boot up faster by stopping or delaying certain programs from starting up. The problem is the programs that are the biggest time-suck aren't supported by this program so you STILL can't stop them. The biggest problem, though, is that this program bogs the computer down the rest of the time that you're working on it. I installed it on my brand new laptop and it just slowed it down to the point of annoyance. I put it on my Windows XP desktop and it slowed to a crawl. At a certain point, I couldn't even use it because it froze constantly. As soon as I uninstalled Soluto, both PCs were back to their old selves and speeding along happily. Save yourself the time and just figure out how to do it manually by going into the control panel.
