From Solid Documents:
Solid Converter Mac (formerly Solid PDF to Word) allows to turn your PDFs into Word documents you can edit. It converts PDF files into Microsoft Word (.docx), Rich Text Format (.rtf), or plain text files (.txt). Extract data to Excel (.xlsx and .csv). Reflow document into continuous HTML (.htm) format.
I was unable to experience the problems cited earlier. Tried it on a few pdf files and it translated them perfectly. Margins on some needed adjusting but probably because I did not have the right font.
I have not experienced any to date. A bit pricey perhaps.
Word document produced was not readeable by Office Student Teacher version and with Rich Text import lost all the images.
Basically it is not useable for my purposes... since I do have the latest OSX but not the latest Office nor do I need it for the rest of my purposes so I do not know if it will work with the latest Word.
