Version: Soldat 1.2
"Soldat > All (almost)"
Pros: Can you say "modable"? This thing puts new meaning to the term "moddable". Not only can you change all the graphics, words, sounds & animations, but you can also download new bots & maps or make your own. 1.3 available from soldat.pl even has the ability to change the weapon settings! This game is crazy classic. Whether it's taunting people as you take them down with a chainsaw or doing dives with a MP5 or picking off people from long range with a Barrett or owning them with the Minigun, this game will blow you away no matter how many times you play it. And once you somehow get tired of Deathmatch, there are 5 (6! in 1.3) other modes that you can play: Pointmatch, which is like Deathmatch with a double-point yellow flag, Rambomatch, in which you try to kill as many people as possible with the 1 existing Rambo bow, Teammatch, Deathmatch with teams, Capture the Flag, where you get the other team's flag and bring it back to your base, Infiltration, where you take the black flag to the white flag or stop the black flag going to the white flag, and Hold the Flag (in 1.3) where you get more points the longer your team has the flag. In addition, you can modify any of the game modes with Survival, where everyone respawns only when one person or team is still alive, Advance, where you start with only the secondary weapons and get primary weapons every few kills, and Realistic, which features recoil, fall damage, and limited sight. And almost everything else in the game is customisable, too! If you're still reading this, then you've got enough time to play Soldat! Download it now from soldat.pl!
Cons: "Barrett" is mispelled, but that's fixable, realistic mode recoil is way too big, I hear there are many hackers and a lot the public servers are swarming with clueless spawn campers.
