"Does what it's supposed to"

I've used this product for a while now, mostly in conjunction with Director to create computer screen gags for films, and it has always worked well. This version is no exception. I found a quick download on one of the mirrors, a nice change from previous large downloads from Ambrosia.
I don't understand why people are moaning about no audio capture... This is a screen capture tool. If you're capturing screen actions for an application tutorial or (in my case) screen actions that need to be replayed a few times for filming, sound is never an issue as it's always recorded and pieced together later.
At the moment, I'm hard pressed to think of many legal reasons why someone would need simultaneous video and audio screen capture, but it's Friday, and I'm beat, and I'm sure that a couple of good excuses exist, just don't ask this product to do something it's not meant for.
Good work Ambrosia. -

Snapz Pro X is the leader in screen capture. It is a little pricey, but no more than any other commercial product. The caveat is, you get what you pay for -
"The best of the best !"

For what it brings, SnapZ Pro is a killer app. Allows me to take many and many snapshots on a test machine and transfer them automatically on my creative Mac. Special effets like blending are especially neat. Really an awesome product, I bought it on the first day it was released and never went back:-) Though some may think it is expensive, the overall package is giving much more power than Apple screenshot features or other software. And if you don't need the full package, why not get only the 29$ version with no video capture ? -
"What a rip off"
Version: Snapz Pro X 1.0.7

You think $49 is a joke, if you actually own it because you bought a new computer with it, and you want to upgrade a minor revision level (bug fixes) say from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7, they want to rape you!If they were even the slightest bit ethical, they would let you get bug fixes for free, just like other regular legal licensed users, then when 2.0, or a major upgrade came along, people would actually trust them, and purchase the upgrade.
Now, it's something like $30.00 to upgrade from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7.
Sorry, but I don't think so!
