Version: Snagit 9.1.2
Pros: I have been using Snagit for many years. My present paid version is 6.40 upgraded to 7.2.5 October 2005. Because of cost I never installed a newer version. However, that will change soon. I use it for extensive web site creation jobs. Terrific!
Cons: I do not have any to report.
Summary: The newest version I downloaded for trial has so many new attributes. The most important ones to are; Library and Tag menu. Wow it keeps track of where I got the captures from and I can go right back. read more

"Terrific Product. Exceedingly intuitive."
Pros: Great for screen capture including videos, scrolling, and even allows editing.
Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: its easy, you can chose if you want to capture complete webpahe, just objects, or text, etc
Cons: none at all. really nice interface

"Pretty slick -- saves me loads of time"
Pros: Really easy to use, great functionality. Nice graphic enhancement features are a wonderful bonus.
Cons: Not much. The special effects on borders, i.e. "torn" effect, eat away at the displayed image instead of adding an extra margin and then tearing away. This is a problem when using graphs that have a right scale because you end up tearing away scale!
Summary: For what my original purpose was, I love this product because it saves me cropping time. I will learn how to work in the extra features! read more

Version: Snagit 9.1.2
Pros: The ability to capture portions of a screen and save it in a multitude of formats is a definite plus.
The ease of operation is appreciated.Cons: SnagIt tries to ingratiate itself into your browser, this has very limited value.
Summary: I enjoy knowing that any time I have to capture a webpage or graphic for further reference, it can be solidly obtained with SnagIt. read more
