Used free version an it is ok but wanted more.. so decided to register and quite amazed at the variety of smiles! There has to be a few thousand choices so should be something for me to use for any of my friends! I use vista and this is the only smiley program I have found that works on vista. good job smileycons!

A few hundred smiles with the free version; need to register to access a few thousand more. still well worth it.

A lot of "SMILEY'S to choose from just on the FREE version. Of course everything from Cloudeight is terrific! No worries about spyware,etc. Have fun!

Ease of use. Ability to express something with an animated (for the most part)picture/emoticon. I like the larger Smiley's in later expansion packs.

Smileycon's is a well engineered, reasonably priced product that offers anyone the ability to manage and insert emoticons into their messages in conjunction with virtually any email client. Unlike most of the "free" alternatives, Smileycon's is 100% free of spyware or adware. Highly recommended for those who wish to avoid specialty email programs and/or adware infested "free" applications. Best of all, graphic images found on the web can be dragged directly from a web page into the Smilycon interface and permanently stored. The UI and emoticon staorage system include a number of useful customization options. The developer provides free support via email as well as a helpful user forum. The trial download is definitely worth checking out and if you opt not to buy, the software uninstalls cleanly and easily.
Cons
IMO, some of the included emoticons are perhaps a bit too cute but hey... thanks to Smileycon's ability to easily save graphic images found on web sites, the program allows you to build an unlimited, custom library of exactly what you want.
