I used this program without worry and it - VERY - worked well - (UNTIL) - it notified me that I needed to upgrade, when I did, it turned into a 15 day trial version, after 15 days, need to purchase.
Cons
None to speak of other than the "Free" version is no longer available...

It also blocks new tabs from opening, and kills your Find dialog box. I wouldn't bother with this one.

I have tried others, and there was always some string attached. They required me to use other features of their software.
Smart Popup Blocker does the job without further trouble.
Cons
On start up, there is a popup asking whether I want to uninstall this utility. If I want to uninstall, I know how to do so.

It only zapped the ad on your 1st home page. If you have additional home pages each on its own tab, it zappes all the tabs.
