Pros are Im sure it works great once you pay for it.
Cons
I can understand a software company charging for something they've put hard work into, but they and no other download site should be listing this as freeware.
Summary
Bottom line is this is the second program I downloaded at ANOTHER download site and I though to myself "well cnet won't pull that on me!" Then I found this here in their freeware section. They proved me wrong for the first time in almost 10 years. Come on cnet check this stuff out before you catagorize it.

It seemed like a quick download at first.......then you can click on desk top icon it leaves behind to get started......

after clicking on icon it takes you to their site to offer you the "FREE" service...wonder if that is all it put into my P.C.??? time to remove this FREE..NOT ware

Can't tell, I didn't register the program, which requires signing up with a third-party company for a free trial of their service.
Cons
NOT FREE. This program will not work unless you sign-up with a third-party website to receive a "free trial" of their software or service.
Summary
It's NOT Free. Cnet.com should do a better job of making sure the programs they list as "Free" are actually free.

I tried this once, but it didn't work for me, since my flash drive had a FAT system. At least this program did tell me that my flash drive had a FAT system, so I downloaded this publisher's other, similar, program, Smart Flash Recovery 3.6 and used it, instead.
Cons
After installing this program, I got an extra shortcut icon on my desktop as a promotion for another of this publisher's products. Granted, I might want this program, in the future, but it was slightly unnerving as it looked too much like adware and I don't recall them asking for permission to install this particular shortcut.

Irritating ads pop up mid scan. Stopped functioning after a few minutes. I removed it after about 20 mins.

It did not find any of my lost file queries whilst other softwares will, there are no pro options and it doesnt do anything windows cant except advertise other lousy softwares
