Version: Smart Defrag 1.20
"Almost Perfect Tool"
Pros: Fast and easy to use; "auto-defrag" function is wonderful
Cons: Lacks a boot-time feature to defrag otherwise locked/immovable system files which would make Smart Defrag complete.
Summary: I've been using Smart Defrag for about a year and it's performed as advertised flawlessly. The auto defrag feature sets it apart from other free defrag tools (and most pay tools, as well). Auto defrag works quietly in the background and does not interrupt your use of the system -- you don't even know it's working unless you see the animated icon in the system tray.
Hopefully they will add a boot-time defrag feature to handle system files such as the pagefile, etc.
