"Dislike new release."

The grahic defrag reminds me of the old defrag programs we used when computers were still in development stages... LOVED them. Loved the OLD program prior to this release, and the COLORS were BRIGHTER....!! too. NOT so the new release....
Cons
Dislike the "fresh look" and FADED color coding of the new release.
Summary
Improvement is NOT neccessarily the better option in this case... still LOVE the OLD defrag and its bright colors.... and the GRAPHIC defrag is prefect for visual learners to get a visual representation of their hard drive... but the "fresh look" which is too light, and the FADED code colors DETRACT from its usefulness and function...
GO BACK to the drawing board guys...!! You CAN do better than this... -

Its really fast and also easy to really figure out. No complex buttons just one. defrag or optimize its not hard to figure out.

The cons about it well if waiting for just a bit really concerns you. Then you should have a ****** defrager. but if you want a thorough defrag

Excellent optimization algorithm: puts directories at the front of the disk; allows for several optimization schemes, partial and full. Compatible with other defrag utilitites; PerfectDisk, Puran, AusLogics, Defraggler..
Cons
Sluggish on Older PC's with slower CPU's. {I mentioned this in my review of the beta product} ..
Summary
Excellent utility but not as fast as PerfectDisk, Puran Defrag, AusLogics Defrag, or Piriform Defraggler. But much better than the native Windows XP defrag utility. Tradeoff between speed and performance wrought by the rather thorough optimization that this utility provides. I had no issues or problems with the beta release; then I noticed the non-beta came out shortly after I had installed the beta version of this nice product. Bottom line, I plan to keep this one, because I like multiple defrag solutions. Also like the options for background defrag, and boot-time optimization as well.

The software gives you options to run a fast defrag, or a smart defrag that takes longer but will make your hard drive faster to give you faster software loads. No other defragger has this feature. Tres cool IObit.
Cons
The plain Jane defrag option (3rd Option) is the same as any other defrag - long and interminably slow ~sigh
Summary
A unique defragger that optimizes the software and files you access all the time and puts the software you almost never use at the 'back end' of your hard drive. This makes for a speedy hard drive and it completely depends on your own usage. Smart Defrag 2.0's graphical representation is also a welcome relief from Microsoft's idiot whirring circle.

"The Best Free Defragger That Beats Paid For Products."

The interface is cool and really easy to use. I use IOBits Smart Derag program on all my PCs. I have never had any issues. This little light program works great on all the current windows operating systems keeping my discs defragged.
Cons
Does not warm pizza in the oven for you. Oh seriously none.
Summary
I used to use Diskeeper 2007 Pro but the cost was ridiculous to use on more than one PC. I evaluate programs and have a quad booting machine, XP Pro, Vista Ultimate, Windows 7 Ultimate 32 and 64 bit. Great free software that really works for you, and it is free. Also check out Game Booster to tweak your PC for games.
