It finds and and assists in the installation of current drivers. Fast scan and good user interface. I use it on all laptops and desktops.

Seems to pick out compatible drivers and if not they will not download so just choose ignore. Overall an effective little program that is offered to home owners on a tight budget. Those that can purchase,please do. Thank You so much Slim Drivers!

All out of date drivers removed and installed.Better than a product that was purchased.So far so good.

I am looking for a down side but I haven't found one yet.
Summary
I have purchased a so called automatic Driver installer all I get is error messages.Slim Deivers did it 100% by greating a restore point in case anything goes wrong then backed up the old drivers then installed the new ones.

If you're looking for a free and effective driver update scanner, this app is a good choice. Although there are a few glitches, they are few and I have found it to be as good as Driver Magic and other "pay for" programs.

Is that I finally found a product that is actually free and really helping out. I've downloaded so many products that say free driver updater. Ya right they just scan and then you got to pay to get the updates you know!

As I said, there is little doubt what's out of date. This program found things that hadn't been updated for 2 years!!

Apparently can find 'most' driver updates.
Cons
As there seems to be a problem with SlimDrivers determining which updates should be applied (Windows 8), a number of problems can occur (for the first time) after running automatic updates.
Summary
SlimDrivers is not free. Use another more reliable program/application for driver update and control.

Small, thorough and easy to use.
Cons
One has to rescan after every update installation. However, it still doesn't take long and with frequent use there would not be that many updates to deal with during any single session.
Summary
There may be alternatives to locate outdated drivers but I'm not aware of them and I don't any other way to find my computer's driver status for items that are missed by Windows Update. Highly recommended.
