    "It is very good....... :)"

    September 2, 2013  |   By verytiredchris

    Version: SlimBrowser 7.00 build 049

    Pros

Pretty easy to use, even though I Can't remember some of its functions (due to me having "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome".... Drat !!!).
    - I have 2 browsers installed, this & Google Chrome". The sites I use that wont accept google chrome, accept 'Slimbrowser';And the sites that wont accept 'Slimbrowser' accept 'Google Chrome"..... :)

    Cons

Quite rarely you get sites that wont accept/integrate/mesh with 'Slimbrowser'........

    Summary

It more-or-less does what IE10 does,But I like its layout more, and its lightweight.... :) Its well worth having installed.... :)

    "Didn't 'mesh' with Firefox"

    August 15, 2013  |   By wale30poO

    Version: SlimBrowser 7.00 build 049

    Pros

It installed...but didn't work; especially the "download" function: perhaps it was that it doesn't 'like' Fire Fox which I have to use because IExplorer 10 crashed and has stayed that way despite all efforts to restore the damned program...

    Cons

Constantly received error messages: (something like) "can't find browser control"...this browser simply did not work in Windows 7 64bit on a new ASUS 17" laptop which-when plugged in-runs two external stor. drives one is a two terabit the other is 650 gigs + sends the desktop and all operations to my flat-screen via HDMI connection with no 'hard breathing'...

    Summary

If "Slim" doesn't like my OS or just that Firefox is installed (yes, I made Slime Browser "default")...no idea. You might want to go to Slim Browser's website and check out "requirements" to be sure your OS and its seated programs will be tolerated.

    Cons

Messy browser , cant get myself to like it although it continues to get good reviews.

    Summary

I have three browsers installed IE 10, Firefox and Chrome, personally I now prefer IE 10 .

"Slimbrowser is the only browser I use!!"

    August 7, 2013  |   By stcktnlinda55

    Version: SlimBrowser 7.00 build 045

    Pros

I do everything on it because it works better than my other ones. I have google, Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox. I use Opera once in a while, but I mostly use Slimbrowser. I do my e-mails, my Jigsaw Puzzles, play Mahjongg and any other games.

    Cons

When I try to do any thing on the other browser their not as fast as slimbrowser, or they freeze if I try to go a little to fast. So I really don't have anything bad to say because there is nothing about it I don't like!!

    Summary

I didn't even know about this program until about 5 or 6 months ago when a friend was upgrading my PC and he told me he put a new program on, at first I was kinda mad, but when I got on it and started using it I never got off!! I am on the PC about 14 to 16 hours a day!! So I needed a good browser. Thank You for Slimbrowser!!

Who can find fault with a very good freeware internet broser.

    Summary

"A small browser that performs well."

    July 19, 2013  |   By frankturner

    Version: SlimBrowser 7.00 build 043

    Pros

A no frills browser that still has most if not all of the tools that a good web browser should have.
A small footprint, always installs without fail, download from Cnet.com of course, easily updateable.
Most if not at alltimes reliable.

    Cons

None that readily come to mind

    Summary

If you need an alternative to the "Internet Explorer" and you wannt a small, fast browser - look at Flash Peak Slim Browser.

"Used For A Couple Of Months Now"

    June 2, 2013  |   By EricVonZipper

    Version: SlimBrowser 7.0.032

    Pros

Fast, good password manager, ad block with several lists to choose from, built-in pop up blocker.

    Cons

Too many flash player crashes, and lately when it crashes, it knocks off the Internet connection resulting in having to turn off the modem and reboot the computer. Doesn't play well with MLB broadcasts at all. Spell check does not check whilst typing - you have to bring up a context page and check word-for-word to correct errors. I wouldn't use SlimBrowser to download anything as it does not port over IE's Smart Screen Filter for protection against malicious downloads.

    Summary

Needs the flash player crashes fixed, but has been such a headache I won't try it again.

    "What is not to like?"

    June 1, 2013  |   By GlyderZ

    Version: SlimBrowser 7.0.032

    Pros

It leaves Explorer in the dust. IE always "stops working" almost immediately. Does IE have a downloader? Does it organize favorites automatically as it should? Does it handle passwords that aren't exposed?I'm sending them a note to add something so they are way ahead of the pack. IE is antiquated at least on every machine I have used. These people actually work on improving. The programmers at MS are awful and they know it. Why do you think the "Castle Industry" is so huge? Anyone try 8 yet. I'm staying at 7 after 10 minutes there. Something is wrong there and we'd see a lot of people, mags etc. get flushed out if they go. It would open up some competition. They have "Legal Muscle". Anyone read the transcripts of he Anti-Trust suit with Netscape. The extensions ended 2012, but they are an insult in court. Remember IBM?

    Cons

    They don't do everything, yet.

    Summary

I have tried a few dozen browsers and it's the only one I can use so far. I'll keep checking.
