    Version: Skype 4.1

    Pros

(Haven't d/loaded it yet so this is re previous version.)
Not much - can't use - see Cons.

    Cons

(Haven't d/loaded it yet so this is re previous version.)
Can't use it, as far too much echo from the other person (I'm OK I think). Hope 4.1 better.

    Summary

Re previous version, can't use it as far too much echo. Hope 4.1 better.

(Why do you ask for a review before we've even had a chance to d/load it??)

"Does everything I ask except for..."

    June 30, 2009  |   By JasonKelly14

    Version: Skype 4.1

    Pros

Clear voice quality. Rarely disconnects or echos. Is super affordable. 2.95 per month for unlimited calls! Makes a great messenger and chat application as well.

    Cons

For some reason with Windows Vista, the extras menu is not available to me since i upgraded to the 4.0 version. I also can not use the skype voice recorder anymore. SMS text cost money. Yahoo Messenger is free.

    Summary

If you are looking for a great way to avoid high phone bills, this is the application for you. The chatting functions are great also but I still prefer yahoo messenger because sms texts are free. High speed internet services are improving by the month and programs like this are constantly changing to meet your needs and expectations. Now if only it was fully compatible with Vista.
