Pros: cheap for in the US - $60 a year.
good international call qualityCons: need internet connection to make and keep a call.

"landline quality sound for couple bucks a month"
Pros: good storage and retrieval cnumber console. good calling statistics, viz. time of call, last called, log, etc.
Cons: none known.

"Skype worked great until i downloaded the update."
Pros: The update in most areas works better, faster.
Cons: Once the update was downloaded no notification sounds work and Skype has not solution to fix the problem. Restored the previous version and notification sounds still do not work.
Summary: The update makes improvements, but, the sound notification do not work, the test for sounds works however, in operation, no sounds work read more
