Version: Skype for Pocket PC 2.2
"good idea, but not very usable"
Pros: Idea seems ok - calling from PDA with wifi enabled. They also provie cabs for installation, which is very nice. :) I also liked design, its more easy to use as comparing to earlier version.
Cons: It takes a long time to log in, even if you have not asked you will get Skype logo and greeting on your Today top (its easy to remove), sound quality is not very good and you might scare people (like from Russian space station?).
Many PDAs actually could not run this version, which is also disadvantage.

Version: Skype for Pocket PC 1.1.6
Pros: the chat feature works flawlessly. The phone feature does not work very well even with my iPAQ with 624Mhz and almost 30MB of allocated memory. But it works!
Cons: Don't let me to create a username on the PDA. Try to improve the sound encode and decode

"I think it doesn't work on pocket pc 2002"
Cons: even though cnet & windows market tells you it works on the pocket pc 2002 platform a check on skype website told me it works only on 2003 or wm 5.0 skype.com/download/skype/mobile/

Version: Skype for Pocket PC 2.2 beta
Pros: If a phone call was international and really expensive the standard way it might work out more cost effective ..er possibly.
Cons: Let me get this straight ...I have to make a 3G connection from my smart PHONE to get to Skype so I can make a voice call.
Why not press the little number buttons and that pretty green make call button instead? ...I hear that's what they are good for. (and as for international I am sure there are people who do a dial a special number thing that's less fuss)
