Pros
As a web developer I love using this to capture bugs on the site and pass pics of them around as URLs, and you can comment, and mark up the images, etc.
Cons
I liked the fact that you used to be able to send just the image and not the whole Skitch page. But, I suppose it's only fair to make people use their interface, since they are providing us with such a great service.
Summary
I know that there are other ways to accomplish the same things, but, Skitch is so easy and such a great interface, that I love it. I think it's a great tool for capturing funny stuff on the internet, especially if it's hard to reproduce, like an ad, or a bug. Anyway, I feel this is a great resource for anyone who does web development, and also great for archiving just stuff that you like from different eras.

It's a very easy to way to grab selective screen shots for educational presentations.
Cons
There really isn't anything I didn't like about it although I'm sure that some power users will find it slow and the interface a bit limiting.

What a fantastic tool this is! If your not a techy person, download Skitch because this application is made for people like us. It's fun, fast and so very useful for heaps of different situations such as quickly inserting pictures into your email or just grabbing a picture that takes your fancy when browsing the internet to store for use later on. Every Mac user should have this handy little app sitting in their dock. It's an absolute delight! -

I got to see this program in action at Macworld 2007 and darn neared drooled over it.
I then became an early beta tester for it. This is one app where I look forward
to the updates and when I can purchase it I will be ready.
This is the beginning and the end if you have to take screen shots and then upload them.
It also can make simple quick edits that can be uploaded not only to its own site (Skitch) but also Flickr and .mac. One click, upload....there is no step 3, its that easy.
No this isn't photo shop, if you need to get something up quick and dirty this program does the job and does it extremely well. No muss no fuss. -
