I got very good resluts, but it took a bit of detective work to realise that I had to use the TWAIN interface from my scanner, and also scan in greyscale.

Summary
A first class program - downloaded late arvo- processed 150 page badly discoloured book next day. The abillity to batch scan and convert to text later is brilliant and its recognition rate is good - no problems whatsoever running on Windows 98SE - and the best part is the cost - Free!!!.

It is impossible to use the text it recognizes. You only get to pieces of letters plus barcode or whatever those signs might be....
